CFRP (carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic) molds for prototypes, samples and small series:

Positive tool made of plastic block material (e.g. ureol), of which a cfRP negative tool wet-laminated with mold construction prepreg is moulded.

Aluminum mold for small series:

For smaller series, an aluminium tool is primarily created for cost reasons. Its surfaces are usually hardened to increase service life.

Steel molds for large series:

In order to ensure consistent quality even over a high number of components, cost-intensivere  steel tools  made of stainless steel or nickel shell tools are usedfor  this purpose.
